  Special Edition "Days of '49. The Days of '92"

  On the 3rd of January 1892, the San Francisco Call published a special edition dedicated to the men, women and businesses that were responsible for building the city of San Francisco. The special edition contained biographic sketches of 100 prominent individuals as well as brief histories of 34 business enterprises in the city.
